My dog is 10 years old which for a big breed dog is old. She was having trouble getting up from all those softer egg crate beds. This bed is much fimer giving her greater support with no indentations like the lower quality egg crates beds we own. I bought this bed because i read a review here about a woman with an aging german shepard. I am glad i read her review because everything she said was true. This bed is worth every penny. My dog seems less stressed on her legs because she is perfectly aligned when she sleeps on this bed.

We bought this bed to help one of the retired K9's who was having trouble getting up and moving around. This bed has made a huge difference for this dog. He is getting up and moving much better since we started using this bed for him
