I had hoped to use this as a "dog crate" at my destination. My chihuahua weighs 8 pounds, is 9" high at the shoulder and 11" long. He just fits and his head is cramped when he stands.\nI would only use this bag if I had to...such as for airline travel, since it is the largest bag approved for being placed under the seat. \nI would not use it for car trips - maybe to the vet, but nothing longer than that.\n\nIt is great looking and seems to be very good quality.

I use the carrier to bring my puppy to the vet, training and to get him used to car travel. Love that it is so puppy proof, cozy inside, and roomy enough to throw in piddle pads, toys, treats, etc. I am surprised that there is no way to attach it to a seat belt or car seat. I wish it had a place to attach his collar/harness so my puppy couldn't leap right out as I open or try to close the carrier. If the carrier had more windows/mesh for the puppy to see better, it would make him worlds more comfortable.
