An incredibly SAFE leash. This is the only leash I have been able to find that cannot accidentally come unhooked. This leash will stay attached to your dog's harness or collar under any conditions. \n\nOriginally, I researched and purchased this leash for this safety feature alone, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the leash is also very comfortable to hold, feels very solid, is made very well, is attractive, and is reflective at night- another great safety feature.\n\nI no longer have any worries about my dog accidentally coming unhooked from the leash while we are out walking. He is a very active little Yorkie, and has gotten unhooked from his traditional spring clip leashes before. Now that I have found this leash, it is the only leash I will ever use again!!

I love that it is locking because other types of leashes come unattach at odd moments - when your other dog's leash crosses over onto other leash, etc. What I don't love about it is that I use it with a halty and it twists the halty around my dogs mouth tight sometimes. I have to keep untwisting the halty and the rope portion of the leash.

I bought the leash to use while my dog and I go on bike rides and to the river. I had always used a leather leash until one day it got wet and stained my hands. I bought this leash just for the river, but now I use it everyday!
