When I ordered the Pet Flys carrier I was a bit worried if it would be approved for the airplane the size requirements are a bit different then the air line stated for approval I think it was over the measurement in one area (hgt-lenth) and under in another but no problems. It made my dog 5.5# chihuahua named Dexter feel secure and he looked very cool in it! p.s. it was a 3hour flight with dog and two kids 1y.o and a 3y.o.
