My dog is old and doesn't see well. This product serves several purposes. It keeps her from stepping in her water and turning it over. It also brings her food up to a better height for balance and lack of flexibility problems. It is very sturdy and well made. The bowls are heavy and deep and don't move if bumped into. It was just what we wanted!
