      The ramp fits onto the car bumper and doesn't slip if placed at the right angle. The footing makes it easy for the dog to climb into the car by him/herself.

            Well designed and well made except that the skid surface which is a grit type application rather than part of the device seems to wear and scuff easily. I am not sure how long this will last or the long term effects. But for [$] you cannot make one this cheap. Does take a lot of room to carry around and weighs about 20lb
