        ramp is too big for a small pet; poor online description not true to what product actually looks like;never told that surface was made of sandpaper which really spooked the dog. totally disappointed. would love to give it back if i could.

        My dog uses the pet ramp to climb onto the bed.
        Although the "substance" used on the ramp provides excellent traction, it feels like sandpaper and dirt gets caught on it.
        What I don't like is the lip at the base of the ramp has an upward turn making it easy for the dog's paws to get caught. It can cause nail breakage. I think it should have a bottom with a downward slant pointing toward the floor as opposed to the upward turn.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                  This ramp is perfect for our old 75 pound hound dog that has trouble getting into our van> His hind legs don't work well enough for him to get up on his own. And he is too tall for us to lift him into the van. This ramp is the perfect solution for him and us. The price is surprisingly low for the great quality it is.
