my cat refuses to use this product although it looks find and fits the space to use it in the bedroom. I forced her to use it a couple of times and her (clipped) nails left scratches which I tried to brush out of the surface. Every way I tried to get the scratches out just added new marks that would not come out. I tried a micro cloth (poly) dry, with water, a soft and then a stiffer cleaning brush, dry and then wet, a chamois, a linen towel, terry towel, a hair dryer to get out the little particles left by some of the cleaning tools, a whisk broom used gently. The surface is now various shades of gray, whitish, and very mottled. I have no use for the ramp and nowhere to store it so I may list it for free on [@]; it is not returnable I assume. I had read that it was not easy to clean, but had not anticipated that a cat's claw would destroy it in a couple of attempted uses. Very disappointing. I purchased stairs elsewhere which my recently three-legged cat uses without a problem. I'm sure the ramp works fine for larger dogs who are fearless and outdoor use where one does ot care about how the product looks.

ramp is too big for a small pet; poor online description not true to what product actually looks like;never told that surface was made of sandpaper which really spooked the dog. totally disappointed. would love to give it back if i could.

My dog uses the pet ramp to climb onto the bed.
Although the "substance" used on the ramp provides excellent traction, it feels like sandpaper and dirt gets caught on it.
What I don't like is the lip at the base of the ramp has an upward turn making it easy for the dog's paws to get caught. It can cause nail breakage. I think it should have a bottom with a downward slant pointing toward the floor as opposed to the upward turn.

This ramp is perfect for our old 75 pound hound dog that has trouble getting into our van> His hind legs don't work well enough for him to get up on his own. And he is too tall for us to lift him into the van. This ramp is the perfect solution for him and us. The price is surprisingly low for the great quality it is.
