Our dog, a small Yorkie, was scared to death of these stairs. He has used a step stool for years, but has recently had more trouble getting up on the bed during the night. Hoped this would help, but after a week or 2 of trying we had to remove the Mr. Herzher's stairs and go back to the stool. Now it sits in the basement of no use. Since it is put together with glue, I assume there is no way to return it for a refund - so, we're out [$] for nothing.If there is some way to rectify this, I'd love to hear it.Made a big mistake buying this item...Bill

This product look nice. But, it is very tall and the steps are narrow so when your pet goes to get off the bed it is a very steep angle. My dog is medium size (57 lbs) and in very good shape, but he was very reluctant to go down the 3-steps because of the angle. I assembled this product, but we don't even use it.
