Our dog is kennel trained and feels secure in her kennel. We never lock her in, but she sleeps in her kennel often during the day, and it is truly her "den" where she enjoys going.
It's a nice piece of furniture and looks so much better than the old heavy plastic "box" she had. The Pet Residence is not an item to be shipped around - we keep it in one place in our kitchen.
We all love it!!!

hi i thought the crate was really easy to assemble and it looks really nice. My yorkie lovesh is crate. The only problem i had was that the latch to open and lose the crate was really stiff and would not pull in enough to be able to close the crate. My boyfriend had to bend it some the other way.

I wanted this so it would blend into our living room furniture....which it does nicely, but after three days, our boxer decided he would rather shred the two sides....yes he is still a puppy, but I hoped it would be more durable then this....Is it possible to replace the two sides? And if so, what is the cost?
I don't think I will put him in this until he is much older......
