We bought the crate for our Weimaraner, who - as a growing puppy - tore through a screen on a durable cloth crate and then seemed uncomfortable and uneasy in the larger pet taxi. The product is perfect for him as it allows him to see what's going on outside of the crate and to sit up or even stand (being nearly full grown); so he has more freedom and feels more like part of the scene. He goes to bed on his own now. The only problem is that the size of the crate is uncommon; the only bed that fits it is made by the same brand. Anyone who has a Weim knows that your best shot at getting your pup to leave the bed in place and keep the chewing to a minimum is to buy one that won't budge on its own.
