for the price the product could have been much better built,the wood is only 1/2 inch cedar not very strong, my ridgeback/lab mix escaped in less than an hour by chewing the bars on the door,they are VERY thin metal and VERY weak, the latch just plain sucks i put on 2 small barrel latches, i would use this as a starter crate for a puppy and for an outdoor dog
