A few years ago, Wes Green (Owner), adopted a whippet-mix puppy, Lexie, and searched everywhere for a dog bed for her. In desperation, he decided to make a bed for her himself. That dog bed and the ideas behind it are the inspiration behind Brooklyn-based Lexie Lew Co. Each item they make must pass the personal pet-owner test: Is it practical? Is it easy to care for?
