I am able to keep this in the back seat all the time. It even helps to keep groceries and store bags stablized in the back seat. I especially like the fact that there are three inflatable portions - so if I need to lower one half of the back seat, I can simply deflate that one side that sits in the foot well to make room (b/c the seat slides forward when flattened) without it affecting the functionality of the other side. Especially handy since I use a dog seat belt restraint for one pooch & a plastic kennel (hence the reason I need to lower half of the back seats) for the other pooch. Nothing negative to report about this product - it is great.

Sure beats the boxes I had been using to fill in the foot wells in the back seat. I would defititely recommend this product.
