Comments about A&E Cage Co. Double Flight Bird Cage with Divider:
This cage is sturdy and weighs over 100lbs. The bars are spaced for small birds but it will probably hold any kind of bird comfortably. I've seen cages that cost four times this much that weren't nealy as rugged. This cage is overbuilt for even commercial uses and I'll bet it could stand up to a F2 tornado. I don't use the divider but my two lovebirds only use half the cage anyway. My friends took one look at it and started laughing. It arrived in two large boxes that were reinforced and banded with no damage. The only complaint I have is the poor assembly instructions. It should take about 45 minutes to assemble, but the instructions are so poor it took over three hours. That's too bad since with about 15 minutes more work, they could be so much better. My advice is to study the diagram very closely. (hint: the tabs on the upper rail of the stand are pointing up and are inboard.)

Comments about A&E Cage Co. Double Flight Bird Cage with Divider:
I house Parakeets on one side & Canaries on the other. However, 95% of the time the divider wall is left out of cage because they all like to hang out together. And in the matching single flight cage I house my 11 Zebra Finches, which they love.
These are the best cages I've ever bought, super easy & fast to clean. I just line the three removable trays w/newspapers. That saves $$ no more corn cob bedding to buy. It's really easy to move the cages around on their wheels. Vacuuming
around & under the cages is now a breeze. The only thing I dislike about the double cage is that you lose two sidewalls by having that removable divider. You can't attach perch's, seed cups,or toys to it permanently. They'd have to be removed everytime in order to pull it out.
Service and delivery comments:
My cage arrived in perfect condition. But, it was on back order for way too long! It took month's to get it. Customer Service was very helpful. They even gave me the current sale price. Less than what I originally paid @ the time I ordered it.

Comments about A&E Cage Co. Double Flight Bird Cage with Divider:
I purchased this cage for housing my various breeds of compatible finches. They are soooooo happy! As soon as I set it up, they were released from their 18X40"X40" cage into this huge 5 foot long flight cage. I had never heard so much racket from these otherwise quiet little birds. They were thrilled, and so was I.
For perches, I used faux apple blossom stem twigs, natural willow and also hung faux soft long leafy vines along the back area so they had little places to hide or get away from the flock when they needed a little rest.
I use the four large double feeders for regular seed, fresh greens (daily), fresh water and the last one for a special organic seed mix. I also buy a small tray of living oat grass every two weeks and place it on the floor of the cage near a perch and keep it watered or misted each day. They love to fly through it and play tug a war.
I also have two small swings hanging from the roof, but the perches I have placed two near the top and two near the bottom on either end, so they have few obstructions from one side to the other. We do not use the divider. We used 'zip strips' to secure the two cages together and do not intend on ever putting in the divider as we want them to have maximum space to fly always. If there is a 'cranky' breeding pair, we can set them up in a different cage until they are done their 'thing'.
Each night we hang a light cotton cover over it. Since the cage is metal, I am going to be sewing in magnets into the cover, so I can just click it on each night.
This cage has been placed in my living room and looks great as a structural piece and because we purchased black, it is fitting right in with our wrought iron accents and warm color pallet.
I have such a peace knowing that I have given my little birds a large living area and a quality of life. Now they can fly freely and enjoy each day with less stress and I can watch them from any angle of the room and appreciate these little creatures in a whole new way.

great cage system for a very good price; quite sturdy; to be able to split the 2-cage system is a big plus. Only minus is the poor description for the assembly.
